Steeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel Sahlute to vintage American made knives.

Historical information regarding these knives varies.

On usmilitaryknives.com, by scrolling down a little, you'll find a couple paragraphs on Pal Blade Co history:

Official Price Guide to Collector Knives, Fifteenth Edition has the tang stamp dating from 1939 to 1945.  Only six years.
Now, to elaborate, the above reference guide lists the following:
PAL (Germany) 1924 – 1939
PAL BLADE CO. (PLATTSBURGH, NY) 1939 – 1945
PAL CUTLERY CO. (PLATTSBURGH, NY & HOLYOKE, MA) 1929 – 1953

Blades Guide to Knives and Their Values, 7th Edition indicates the Pal Blade Co / Pal Cutlery Co as one reference dating from 1935 to 1953.

Blades Guide to Knives and Their Values lines up perfectly with the link on usmilitaryknives.com.  One thing is solid as carbon steel……everything with a tang stamp and the word PAL came to a close in 1953, making thse knives at least 59 years old!!
