You’re about to read about some boom-diggity good ol’ fashioned customer service!

 

As the story goes……., I score this Kershaw Vapor II in a knife LOT purchase.  I like Kershaw and I’ve knever handled a Vapor before so I’m kinda stoked, but there’s no thumb stud! Dang burn it!

Well that wasn’t the entire problem…..the knife was gunky, dirty, $h!tty, right in the pivot area.  Here’s a pic.

 

 

Then I overcome my biggest fear in my pea brain and decide to take it apart and clean it. DUH! :O

Strangely enough I get this Vapor II apart without anything blasting off into space…then, I put it back together.  Serious.  I did it.  All by myself.  I wouldn’t $h!t you, you’re my favorite turd!! 

Now, I still need a thumb stud. I cram a toothpick into the hole but, didn’t want to tell anybody I did that, but……

So, here’s the Kershaw Kniveswww.kershawknives.com customer service Steel Sahlute of the day award.

I call.  They answer.  They inform me, since the Vapor is NOT made in the USA they don’t have replacement parts BUT………………………………BUT…………………………..BUT………………………….ready for this…………….if I send it back, they’ll replace the knife.  

Just print out the form on the website, fill it in, and mail the whole enchilada in with the knife and they’ll REPLACE is.
